about
Half English- half French moan at PO privatisation and its consequence for saucy penpal letters
lyrics
Her finger traced the line, along my life and love and times
'You will always come to nothing'
You own it, You own it
She smiled and took his hand, 'A fine figure of a man',
But you will always come to nothing'
You own it, You own it, Owned it
On a Monday, the mat is bare, rue the Tuesday, there's still nowt there
In bed Wednesday, wait a minute wait a minute
Learning thursday, lost will to care
But Friday morn we all got paid and we're the social lovers
We must go out, forget the post, forget about the others
Because Cable held the line, betrayed the life and times
Ce que je peux pas ecrire
You own it, You own it
Je t'aime vachement beaucoup, faudrait que invente des mots
Qu'existe pas dans le dico
You own it,You own it, Owned it
Chorus
You own it,You own it, Owned it

This is very close to what I heard/felt everytime we visited the grandparents in Runcorn.
Ominous dread. Bleak dystopia. Concrete and terraced houses. Plus the air smells! MonkeyMajiks
I've had this album on repeat for two days! As with Flock, every song hits the mark with deceptive simplicity--a great bass line and chord progression filled out with wonderfully varied guitar textures, a solid drum kit, synths and filter sweeps, and of course, Jane's lovely voice. Stephen Bourque

In 2019, I was in Salisbury and attended the Alphabet Business Convention without knowing any artist. Lost Crowns was my favourite band that played there. Pablo P.
